這座賴(lài)恩爵將軍第，更像一座迷宮。穿過(guò)一道道門(mén)，行過(guò)一條條巷，稍不注意就會(huì)迷失方向。將軍第里的巷子特別窄，兩手撐開(kāi)就可以抵住兩側(cè)巷墻，從防衛(wèi)角度看，有“一夫當(dāng)關(guān)，萬(wàn)夫莫開(kāi)”的效果。
由于巷子高而且窄，太陽(yáng)能照進(jìn)來(lái)的時(shí)間就很短，這也是它涼爽的原因，因而被稱(chēng)為“冷巷”。
The mansion is more like a maze． If not paying attention， you will lose your way when walking through the doors and alleys． The lanes here are so narrow that two hands can hold out against the lane walls on both sides． From the defense perspective， it has the effect of＂one man in front of the gate， no one can open it．＂
Because the alley is high and narrow， it can only be exposed to sunlight for a short time， which is why it is cool． Therefore， these alleys are called＂cold alley＂．
